A pre-terminated fiber optic assembly is a complete optical cable solution that comes with connectors already attached to the fiber strands. These assemblies include components such as fiber cables, connectors, protective jackets, and pulling eyes, all designed to provide a seamless installation experience.

Pre-terminated fiber optic assemblies can be custom ordered to your desired length (10 feet or up to 5,000 feet.) according to your specific requirements. The assemblies are made to order based on the length you need. All assemblies 100ft and over will be placed on a spool for easy installation. Assemblies under 100ft will be neatly air spooled.

A pulling eye is an additional attachment on pre-terminated fiber optic assemblies designed to facilitate installation. It provides a sturdy attachment point for your pull string or rope, allowing you to pull the cable through conduits or tight spaces without damaging the connectors or fiber strands. The benefit of using a pulling eye is that it reduces the risk of damage during installation, especially in complex pathways or confined spaces.

Common connector types available for pre-terminated fiber optic assemblies include LC, SC, ST, FC, and MTP/MPO connectors. Connectors are staggered to reduce the pulling basket diameter and promote an easy and more flexible cable pull. Plastic wrap is also applied to prevent contamination during installation

An LC (Lucent Connector) connector is one of the most common types of cable connectors used in fiber optic networks. It utilizes a 1.25mm ferrule (half that of FC, SC, and ST) and push-pull latch mechanism for secure and easy connections
