Are the assemblies tested before shipping?
Yes. Every MTP trunk and fanout assembly is 100% tested and shipped with a test report. They are built in the USA using Corning fiber and genuine US Conec MTP connectors.
What lengths can I have my MTP trunk made to?
We offer lengths from 1 ft through 5000 ft.
Are these cables resistant to rodents and environmental damage?
Yes, the steel armor and heavy-duty PE jacket protect against rodents, crushing, and other environmental hazards.
What are Outdoor (OSP) Armored Direct Burial MTP trunk cable assemblies used for?
They are designed for long-term, permanent fiber installations directly in the ground, offering superior protection in harsh outdoor environments.
What does gender mean in terms of a MTP or MPO connector?
MTP or MPO connectors are made in male and female. Male connectors contain pins on the end of the connector. Females connectors have no pins and slots instead. To interconnect MTP and MPO connectors you must have a male and female connector. You also much use a MTP or MPO coupler do do so. The pins insert into the female slots to properly algin the fiber endfaces.
